Renewable Heat Premium Payments

The Renewable Heat Premium Payments scheme is a government scheme that gives money to householders to help them buy renewable heating technologies.

The scheme has been recently updated and you can now claim £2000 for biomass and £600 for solar thermal installations.

In order to qualify you will need to have a Green Deal Assessment and have your installation in a home that is without gas central heating, the only exception is solar thermal.

Applications can be made through the Energy Savings trust

At Wood Pellet Solutions we can provide both biomass and solar thermal installations. This includes 3 or 4 ranges of boilers and our own solar collectors made in Wiltshire.

As of 31 March this scheme has been finished and replaced by the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (9 April 2014). For all those people who have applied for the RHPP you can now apply for the RHI through Ofgem and they have guidance notes for people who have already installed and claimed the RHPP payments.
